Argunet Debates
Argument: only principles represent knowledge
- Morality is completly principle-free.
- If morality is completely principle-free, then acting (morally) right does not mean acting according to principles/rules.
- If an action being right in some respect S does not mean that it was commited following a certain principle/rule, then knowledge about what makes an action right in respect S cannot be acquires. (No practical knowledge withou rules.)
- It is impossible to acquire moral knowledge.
- It is possible to acquire general moral knowledge.
- NOT: Morality is completely principle-free.
