Argument: Material inferences

These reasons are materially good inferences without formally valid inference patterns.

  1. There are inferences, that are materially good, but not formally valid.
  2. These materially good inferences are complete arguments.
  3. We can understand them as arguments even if we do not add a general moral principle (i.e. "you should never steal") as implicit premiss.
