Argument: Knowledge of the outside world is gained by the use of some medium

  1. Not: Some core properties of our universe which can only be true if logical do not depend on perception.
  2. To be able to gain access to knowledge which is not intimately part of us some kind of medium must be used.
  3. Knowledge of the outside world is not an intimate part of us.
  4. We gain access to knowledge of the world by the use of some medium.
