Argument: The most basic logical thought are objective.
Eg: apple is objective, not its properties
- By the law of non-contradiction, two ideas cannot both be true at the same time.
- We are dealing with basic ideas.
- Basic ideas are said to be basic because they are not dependant on too many outside factors.
- Subjective ideas arise when there are too many factors to be relied upon, e.g. ethics.
- Hence subjective ideas are not basic.
- Our brain, even if it is often deceptive, can detect in the most basic ideas contradictions.
- Hence there is no definite evidence that our brain has flawed logic.
- Our universe, if it exist, has a core set of objective concepts which can be acquainted without the use of perception. Ethics, the arts and human behaviour are not part of this core set.
