Argument: Some notions about the world are in the strict form of thought

  1. Physical sciences, expecially theoretical, do not intrinsically depend on our perception of the world, they can be pure human thought with no perception of the world intervening.
  2. Ideas are acquired and can be checked independantly of perception, they can be checked by logic.
  3. Physical sciences are not dependant on perception, they can however be observed as being true by the means of perception.
